Welcome!

   Hello, My name is Mrs. Barbara Bonkoski.  My husband Ray and I are members of St. Joseph Parish Erie. We have four adult sons, Phillip ( married to Tiffany), Anthony, Joseph and Jonathan.  I have been teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School for sixteen years.  I am passionate about teaching and inspiring young people and I have been so blessed!  I strive to help  young people to grow in their relationship with Jesus, practice virtues and become a Saint!

     I teach our Catholic Faith, Theology of the Body, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, English and Literature.  I enjoy doing hands-on lessons such as Stem Challenges and guiding students to become a critical thinkers. I also teach life skills such as problem solving, logic, personal finance, time management and more.  I believe these are essential skills that will help students in their daily lives.  I am grateful for the opportunity to inspire students to a deeper love for God and to guide them in their academic challenges to reach their highest potential.
